SHORT BIO
Leonardo is currently a Professor in the Center for Computational Science, Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) in Brazil where he has been a faculty member since 2008. He is conducting research activities majorly at the Ph.D. Program in Computational Modeling. Leonardo completed his Ph.D. in Numerical Methods at the Federal University of Paraná in 2007. His research interests lie in the areas of computational modeling and computational science. He also collaborates with researchers in other disciplines, aiming at applications of computational and mathematical models.
